All plain colored tapes are dyed through. This means that even if they are worn, the color will not be able to peel off. They therefore maintain the color until one day you choose to remove them or replace them with new ones. Note, however, that two-color types are only dyed through with one color. The second color is placed on top. They are still very durable, so you definitely don't have to worry about durability. All types have good resistance to the wear and tear that can occur in a workplace. They can easily withstand both being walked on and run over by machines. We also sell extra durable marking tape, which is extra resistant to tearing and can withstand a forklift.
Where would it be ideal to use marking tape?
The marking tape can be used for many different purposes - the only limit is your imagination. It is a really good tool for marking:
Framing security areas
Used as guidelines
Separation line between driving and pedestrian traffic.
Do you have steps that people tend to trip over, or an edge in a door that's a little higher than normal? Then it can be smart to mark this with a colorful marking tape, so you are sure that everyone notices the step. Do you have areas, e.g. in your warehouse, which needs to be divided, then this marking method is excellent. The logistics of fixtures etc. in the hall are under control - without barriers being set up which make movement around the hall difficult. If you need an area to have a larger share of the space, it is easy and quick to remove the tape and mark again. The very large warehouses can be difficult to find your way around. Here it would be an advantage to have some guidelines in the form of stripes that lead to the different areas in the building. There you can, for example, choose that each color means something specific.
The perfect tool for creating structure and order
Marking tape is therefore a fantastic tool for those of you who like to have things in order and be very structured. It is a very hard-wearing and durable solution that can be quickly and easily edited if the need changes. See all the different types on this page. Avoid dangerous situations in the workplace with PVC tape
In storage areas and production areas, where many people often drive around each other on various trucks and electric stackers, dangerous situations can sometimes arise. As a company, you will of course do everything to avoid this, for several reasons.
Personal injuries are never good for a business. It is your colleague who is injured, but at the same time it gives the company a bad reputation as a workplace, and it also costs a lot of money in compensation, sick days, etc.
Fortunately, these injuries can often be avoided by investing a minimal amount in various safety measures.
One of these measures is our PVC tape.
What is PVC tape?
PVC tape is tape made from the material polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is a plastic material. It is an inexpensive material that ensures that the investment in security does not need to be particularly extensive.
In addition, the choice of material means that you can get the tape in many different colours, which certainly help to attract the attention of the employees towards the areas where there may be a particularly high danger.
The different colors include black, blue, red and yellow, which is an obvious choice in many places. In production areas, it is important that the color is one you don't see very often, so that the employees notice it. Of course, if all fixtures are yellow, it does not make sense that the warning tape is also yellow.
PVC tape is one of the most versatile marking products
Our tape has an incredible number of uses across the organization. As mentioned, it can be used in production areas where employees must exercise special caution if trucks or the like are driving around.
However, it can also be used to shield an area from unauthorized persons. It may be that there will be visitors to the workplace, and you therefore have to screen off an area, as it may be a danger to the guests, or is not an area they should be in.
Another use is to wrap the tape around a box to mark that the box contains a given item by means of color codes, if you have purchased several different colors of PVC tape for the company.
Extend the life of your tape
PVC tape can last for many years if you place it correctly on a proper surface.
If your surface is full of dust and dirt, this means that the tape cannot properly grip the substrate, and thus it is easy for it to detach from the floor or where you have placed the tape. If, on the other hand, you place the tape on a flat, cleaned surface, the tape will have difficulty tearing itself free, and you will get more out of your tape.
In addition, placing it on a flat surface will also make it easier for the tape to stick. This makes a location on either the floor or the ceiling completely obvious, which is also the solution that most companies choose when they buy our PVC tape.
